Yekeen Rukayat Temitope is a seasoned finance and administration professional with over 15 years of experience in the microfinance banking sector. She currently serves as the Head of Internal Audit at Kadupe Microfinance Bank, where she plays a vital role in ensuring operational transparency, risk management, and compliance with financial regulations.
Born on October 1, 1980, in Saki, Oyo State, Nigeria, Rukayat hails from the Saki West Local Government Area and is proudly rooted in her community. Her early education began at Baptist Primary School, Ajegunle, Saki, followed by A.D.S. High School, where she obtained her Senior Secondary School Certificate.
Her academic journey continued through the prestigious Osun state Polytechnic,Ire where she earned a National Diploma (ND) in Secretarial Studies. She later completed a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Business Administration from Interlink Polytechnic, Ijebu-Jesa. In her drive for continuous development, she went on to earn a B.Sc. in Accounting from Ajayi Crowther University, Oyo.
Throughout her tenure at Kadupe MFB, Rukayat has held multiple critical roles including Clerical Officer, Treasury Staff, Operations Manager, and Head of Information Technology. Her leadership in IT and internal audit reflects her deep understanding of organizational processes, data integrity, and strategic planning.
Rukayat is known for her honesty, consistency, and commitment to excellence. She is proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, and communicates fluently in both English and Yoruba. Her core strengths include efficient problem-solving, time management, and the ability to lead with integrity.
Beyond her professional life, Rukayat is passionate about reading and building meaningful relationships. She is a devout Muslim, a dedicated wife, and a proud representative of Oyo State.
